Alright ESOfam this is the beginning of our journey together exploring ESO lore with your Loremaster Apprentice, DioDiablo. And where else is better to start this journey than the very beginning of the ESO timeline? Going in chronological order we are going to tackle the story of the Elder Scrolls Online as experienced by the Vestiage. For the Planemeld we're going to organize this in a way that's consistent with the Planemeld event itself, so we won't be covering the Three Banner War for this content block. Instead we're going to cover the good stuff. THE FIVE COMPANIONSThe Five Companions were on a mission to claim the Imperial Throne for their own means, but things went horribly wrong when one of the five had their eyes set towards Oblivion. What drove these five to work together and help Varen Aquilarios take the throne, and what credentials did they have that made them fit to be inducted into the Five Companions? With the Amulet of Kings in their hands the fate of Nirn rests on their shoulders. THE WORM CULT AND XIVKYNCrawling out of the dark cervices of the dark anchors are the Worm Cultists and the Xivkyn clan. The homogony these despicable group of humans and daedra is alarming as they cast Dark Anchors across Tamriel, spilling Daedra everywhere they drop. What causes these groups to work together and what kind of payout do they get for their cooperation? We'll be taking a brief dive into these mysterious figures. THE MAGES AND FIGHTER'S GUILDTo help stop the Planemeld, and to not create a huge hole in the Three Banners War in Cyrodill, the Mages and Fighter's guild banded together to end the Planemeld. Getting these two guilds to work together was not an easy task but necessary for the safekeeping of Tamriel. It would take both magic and grit to charge Molag Bol and his forces in their realm of Coldharbour. We'll be looking into these guild's histories, prominent figures, and contributions towards ending the Planemeld that tore through Tamriel. COLDHARBOURColdharbour, the home of the violent daedric prince Molag Bol. You will find stolen cities, hidden mysteries, Soul Shriven, and a plethera of dremora roaming the blue gloomy lands. Nowhere is safe for anyone in this realm, unless you're able to survive the exodus to the Hollow City. There are so much lore to explore here that I don't want to spoil anymore. IMPERIAL CITY AND CYRODILLThis is where we're going to end our lore journey to close out the events of the Planemeld. The largest of all dark anchors dropped over the Imperial City with the goal to snatch the entire capital into Coldharbour. Living here is hell on earth, and we're going to explore what survivors have to deal with on a daily basis. It's going to be insane covering this much lore from the get go, but we are starting with the base game (half the base game)! Roadmap will be uploaded before Independence day and I can't wait to start this series with the ESOfam!
