"After playing for a long time, I have finally collected all the treasures!" Black Desert Online is an MMO that follows the philosophy of old school MMOs, like Runescape, where it's not about the destination but the journey. Avid players will normally phrase this as "it's a marathon, not a race", a testament I stand behind 100%. There are some long time players who have dedicated their years on certain activities such as class mastery, horse collecting, then you have people like Reddit user HeadHunter1956 (IGN: BashForFun) who has spent ages collecting every single treasure piece currently available in game.
Treasure pieces in BDO are ultra rare items that provide quality of life perks to the adventurer brave enough to gather them, and these take years to complete thanks to the unforgiving rng that BDO is known for. Nonetheless HeadHunter1956 took on the challenge and shared the yolk of his work to the BDO subreddit. Knowing how rare such an achievement is I was fortunate enough to nab an interview with HeadHunter1956 on his treasure hunting journey, and insights he has for other adventurers working toward the same goal.

Bastian Basking In The Woods /Blackwood/ ESO has become an MMO that covers a lot of ground when it comes to the zones that keep being added throughout the years. This is a good thing for many reasons, but for the modest crafter who chooses to gather their own ingredients it's a sandbox activity of its own. While it is technically possible to gather raw crafting materials in every single zone, this is not the most practical approach. I will show you the best areas you should focus your gathering efforts on to get the most out of your yields. If you are part of the PC Master Race, as myself, you can download the addons Harvest Map and Map Pins to save the location of each node you've visited and what type of node they are. To be a true craftsman is to be certified am I wright? Well you'll be pleased to have none other than DioDiablo to show you how easy it is to get certified! It's a task that relatively takes 5 minutes, or less if you already have the necessary material on hand. You have 7 disciplines you can become certified in: blacksmithing, woodworking, clothier, alchemy, enchanging, provisioning and jewelry. The lovely Bosmer Millenith can issue certifications in: blacksmithing, woodworking, and clothier. Danel Telleno can issue certifications for: alchemy, enchanting and provisioning. For jewelry certifications you'll need to make a special trip to Alinor (Summerset Isles) and visit Felarian for your jewelry certification. Why get certified you might ask? Well it's to be able to do crafting writs of course, but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves right now. Let's breakdown the certification process by exploring Blacksmithing so you know what to expect for the other crafting disciplines. A good thief never gets caught, or so they say. The backbone of any good thief is mastering the skills of the Ledgermain, or as This One likes to call it "hiding in the shadows". Light on the feet and nimble hands is what separates the cream of the crop from the regular cutpurses. Honing these skills takes considerable time so be like the Bandaari and begin your journey across the disciplines of the Ledgerman. There's nothing that hurts more in this game than failing your Pen attempt for the 50th time. And that doesn't include all of the fails you had before even getting to TET! So much emotional damage is taken when failstacks stack up that you can even earn titles for them! It's time to bust out the tissue and Jack Daniel's because we're going all in on failstacks, and how we can turn our own failure into success. WARNING: THERE IS A LOT OF EMOTIONAL DAMAGE IN THIS PROCESS AND IT MAY MAKE YOU WANT TO QUIT BDO ENTIRELY!!!!
During you're enhancement journey in BDO you'll eventually come across some items you'll get from login rewards, the black spirit game board, and other various activities called Valk's Advice and Valk's Cry. Both of these items aid in increasing your chances of enhancing, especially if you haven't done your Adventurer Logs to permanently increase your family's enhancement chance! If you're a BDO hoarder like me you'll have plenty of both items set aside for some serious enhancement sessions. Get your head out the gutter Tulava Timmy because we're getting down and dirty with our black spirit today!
The blood and soul of Black Desert Online is progression, and the only true way to progress in this game is by increasing your attack and defense power (AP/DP) by enhancing your gear. How is this done exactly? Well, to be frank it takes a lot of fucking pain! All of that pain is worth it in the end as you feel yourself progress from a Velia Virgin to a One Combo Wonder slaughtering all in your path in the world of Black Desert. This BDO enhancement guide won't be your typical guide that covers the basics. We are taking EVERYTHING into account to help make your path to Pen just a little bit less painful.
Did you know inside GPOSE there's even more options to make your photos pop? No matter the case we're going to review the special effects that GPOSE provides to your disposal so you don't have to break too much of a sweat. Just promise me when you start using these effects that you won't go overboard and blame me for it. Pinky promise!!! One of the great things about the Gpose menu is that it has an entire section dedicated to lighting, however this lighting isn't always the best way to utilize lighting for that sexy pic. Today we're going to delve into the world of Photography and understand lighting from a professional standpoint. Our focus will be on natural and artificial lightning, and going over the different types we have available in FF14. If there was one thing that Zenimax executed flawlessly it was giving the Khajiit and Elsweyr the glow up it desperately needed. The Elder Scrolls Online was the first time we've had the opportunity to physically explore Elsweyr, and boy ZOS did not hold back! The way that the Khajiit and their homeland had been described in previous TES games feels like a prologue to what you get to experience with the Elsweyr chapter. From breathtaking biomes to deep seeded lore and storytelling among the Khajiit there really is no other feeling in ESO that can replicate this level of immersion. The kicker here is that some of the storylines of the Five Companions who helped us end the Planemeld get and epic closer by the end of the chapter. These were plot twists done right. That's not all we're gonna focus on though, here's what our Road to Warm Sands will cover. |
