Things are getting hot as we go pure pyro with the Dragonknight. All of creation will turn to ash as you scorch the earth with your searing draconic flames of passion and fury. This build is all about squeezing every ounce of flame damage you possibly can. The Firelord is a DPS build that focuses on getting the most out of Dragonknight's fire DOTs, while also utilizing flame damage abilities outside of the class kit. The foods you'll want to run are Witchmother's Potent Brew or Clockwork Citrus Filet, whichever you have at your disposal. While spell damage potions are the most ideal to run in groups, Dragonknights are known for having expensive ability costs and below average sustain. A trash Magicka potion, or even a tri stat potion will be more ideal to run to help maintain sustain. RACESThere's definitely a batch of races you can choose for your Firelord, but these are the top races you should consider when making your pyromaniac. GEAR, GLYPHS, TRAITSYou do have a few gear options to mix and match for this build, but keep in mind this is a pure fire build. We're going to be looking at sets that boost our flame damage potential. Even when using off meta sets you're going to be trials ready, especially once you put the practice in your rotation. CORE SET

GLYPHS AND TRAITSWhen it comes to your glyphs and traits we're going a bit unconventional because we want to maximize our flame damage. Weapon glyphs (front and back) should be flame damage with the Charged trait because we want to keep our burning status up as much as possible, since that is our primary source of DPS. Armor traits should all be Divines to get the most out of our mundus stone. Armor glyphs should be all Glyph of Magicka for maximum magicka, which will boost your spell damage by 100 for every 1000 magicka added to your resource pool. Jewelry glyphs should be Increased Magicka Harm for that extra magicka recover, with the Bloodthirsty trait. All glyphs should be of Truly Superb quality to get the most out of your DPS. Gold out your WEAPON first, then jewelry, then armor. At this point some vet players may be screaming about the setup, but this is about maximum flame damage, not the most meta setup. This build, with enough practice, has the potential to meet or outperform some meta sets if the user can maintain their sustain with DKs expensive ability costs. SKILLS AND CHAMPION POINTSWe are all in on flame damage, so any and all flame damage abilities is what we're going for. We also want to pick up champion points that's going to put an extra kick in our flame DPS. While I could give you a rundown of every CP you should get, I want to only focus on the slottables as your CP preference may vary from others. The slottable CP perks you want available at all times are: Biting Aura, Exploiter, Master-at-Arms, Reaving Blows, Thaumaturge, Wrathful Strikes, and Weapons Expert. The reason you want these available to slot at any given time is going to be based on whether your solo or in a group, group composition, and situations that will call for a CP slot change in more coordinated groups.
